PeriOptix™ Introduces The New Micro TTL™ Loupes at the American Dental Association’s 150th Annual Session September 30 – October 4, 2009
San Clemente, CA – September 30, 2009 – PeriOptix, Inc., one of the nation’s leading providers of high quality magnification and illumination systems for medical and dental professionals, is exhibiting at the American Dental Association’s 150th Annual Session on September 30 – October 4 in Honolulu, Hawaii. PeriOptix will be located in the Hawaii Convention Center in Booth #1635.
PeriOptix will be conducting product demonstrations of its magnification and illumination systems to dentists and hygienists. The company will be showcasing its new Micro TTLs (through-the-lens) design – the lightest and smallest dental loupes on the market. Weighing in at only 36 grams, the elegant and streamlined PeriOptix Micro TTL loupes offers a much lighter and compact alternative to bulkier and heavier loupes. PeriOptix new, proprietary optics sacrifices nothing but weight—image size and quality are equivalent to much larger lenses. Light weight loupes are important to dentists and hygienists who wear loupes all day during patient treatment. Heavier loupes are uncomfortable and difficult to wear during prolonged use.
PeriOptix has developed a laser-guided manufacturing process that creates a perfectly aligned, custom fit TTL loupe. A more precise fit means less hunching over and reduced strain on back and eyes for the dental professional. In addition, the new PeriOptix Micro TTL can be fitted with prescription lenses to accommodate users who require corrective lenses.
Booth attendees will have the ability to utilize PeriOptix dental loupes and headlights in a simulated dental operatory. This unique opportunity gives prospective customers the ability to try various magnification levels and working distances that best meet their needs.
"We are excited to unveil our new Micro TTL Loupe at The American Dental Association meeting this week," exclaimed PeriOptix head of marketing, Roslyn Tholin. “We want dentists to experience for themselves the look and feel of a customized loupe system weighing only 36 grams,” Ms. Tholin added.
